Eli Lilly reported third-quarter revenue of $11.45 billion, surpassing Wall Street expectations of $10.9 billion. The strong results were fueled by surging availability of Mounjaro and Zepbound as multi-billion-dollar investments in domestic and European manufacturing facilities reached commercial-scale output.

Combined sales for tirzepatide treatments topped $4.3 billion during the quarter. Prescription volume increased over 80% sequentially as retail pharmacy fulfillment bottlenecks eased, allowing Eli Lilly to gain market share in the rapidly expanding metabolic disease and chronic weight management sectors.

Lilly announced continued progress on its next-generation oral GLP-1 candidate, orforglipron, with Phase 3 enrollment completed ahead of schedule. The company raised its full-year revenue outlook to $45.8–$46.4 billion.
